Felice Cohen is the author of the Amazon bestselling and award-winning (Goldie, 2023 Nonfiction & 2022 Book of the Year Outstanding LGBTQ, The Independent Author Network) memoir Half In: A Coming-of-Age Memoir of Forbidden Love. She first gained national and international attention as the woman who lived in one of the world’s smallest apartments, chronicled in her book 90 Lessons for Living Large in 90 Square Feet (…or More). Inspired by her 90-square-foot New York City studio, a YouTube video of her apartment went viral, amassing more than 25 million views.
Felice also writes the Substack newsletter A Love Letter to Letters, where she reflects on the enduring power of handwritten correspondence, memory, and the stories preserved in the letters we keep.
As the granddaughter of two Holocaust survivors, Felice is also the author of What Papa Told Me, a memoir about her grandfather’s life before, during, and after World War II. Endorsed by Elie Wiesel, the book is taught in schools across the United States, has been translated into Polish, and has reached readers around the world.
Felice has been featured on Good Morning America, NBC, CBS, NPR, and in publications including Time, The Globe & Mail, the New York Daily News, and the Daily Mail. A professional organizer for more than 25 years, she brings the same philosophy of living intentionally and thoughtfully to both her work and her writing. She splits her time between New York City and Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
