Tagan’s Bio:

Tagan Shepard (she/her) is the author of over ten books of sapphic romance, including the 2019 Goldie Winner Bird on a Wire and the 2024 Goldie Finalist Pumpkin Spice. When not writing about extraordinary women loving other extraordinary women, she can be found playing video games, reading, or sitting in DC Metro traffic. She lives in Virginia with her very patient wife and two ridiculous cats. Her latest release, Cabin Fever, is a contemporary romance with a laundry list of adored tropes and a couple of knuckleheaded sapphics, as usual.

Cabin Fever Blurb:

Morgan Allen arrives at her first national trade show expecting to make a splash and a ton of sales. She didn’t expect her biggest rival, Shelby Howard, to be there, stealing her thunder and all her clients. Why couldn’t Shelby just stay home and let Morgan have this one? Q. What made you start writing?

A. I had too many people talking in my head, so I figured I’d write down their stories so they’d stop.

Q. What is your latest book? How did you get the idea? When does it come out?

A. I was driving the same unfamiliar section of interstate from Rochester, NY back home to DC when it started snowing, obscuring the sign for my road. The cell coverage was bad and I didn’t have directions, only the road number I needed. I nearly missed the exit, and I spent the 7 hour drive home wondering what might’ve happened if I had missed that exit.

A. The 2019 USWNT soccer team (the team we lovingly call 10 Lesbians and Alex Morgan)
