Terri’s Bio:

Terri is an extroverted introvert. She loves animals, wholeheartedly considers chocolate a food group, watches cheesy rom-coms and writes about happily-ever-after.

As an author of contemporary sapphic romance, her main characters find the courage to overcome their fears and insecurities to let love in.

Terri is a Health Care Professional with 30 years experience in Pharmacy and Patient Services Operations. She earned her pharmacist degree from The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Terri is motivated by the belief that a diagnosis should not distract patients from focusing on their life experiences. She is driven by knowing that she makes a difference to her patients by being part of their support team. She is known for leading and sharing experiences in a way that creates an environment where her teams can learn, grow, develop. By embracing diversity of thought, she is motivated by connecting people through intentional interactions.

Terri grew up in Pennsylvania and currently lives near Raleigh, North Carolina. She enjoys spending time with her wife and their fur babies (two dogs and two horses) and her extended family including twelve nieces and nephews. Her passions include writing sapphic fiction, traveling and learning the French language.

Q. What made you join the sapphic lit pop up bookstore?

A. I love the idea of a traveling book store! But it was the location that first got my attention – being from Pennsylvania I like idea of participating in local book events and getting to visit family.

Q. Do you use the same creative process for each book? Of so, what is it? If not, how does it change?

A. Short answer – No. I was a total pantser for my first two books. Scenes came to me at 2am, I typed them up and then arranged them into chapters that made sense later. I’m plotting a lot more as I work on my current novel, having an excel storyboard and everything!

Q. What is your latest book? How did you get the idea?

A. My current project is a contemporary sapphic romance set at the beach in North Topsail, NC. The idea came to me while vacationing there. I was sitting on the beach and a very attractive woman in a black sports bra and black running shorts jogged past me. Yes, I admit I noticed her broad shoulders and great arms…Seed planted. Later that week, I was sitting on the deck watching the sun set. I looked down the beach and thought, this would be a great setting for a romance with that jogger…and a dog.
